Role:

For our pharma Roche Diagnostics in Rotkreuz we are looking for a Professional System Administrator (m/w/d).

Background:

We are looking for a Professional Laboratory/Manufacturing System Administrator located at Basel/Kaiseraugst to work for PT Informatics, the Informatics supporting Roche Pharma Global Technical Operations. This position is focused on manufacturing applications, infrastructure, clients and devices for Drug Product and Drug Substance Manufacturing and Pharma Technical Development.

The perfect candidate:

We are looking for a hands-on candidate who already worked in GMP Manufacturing area and is used to work with manufacturing and laboratory systems and has the technical knowledge needed.

Areas of responsibility:

- Perform and document pilot installation, work together with local/global CSV Team, Supplier, internal IT partner
- Create, coordinate and prioritize local change requests, ensure high quality and (GxP) compliant implementation and documentation
- Help stakeholders to specify their IT demands and needs, especially if the demand is related to cross-functional operations and enhancement groups and technologies
- Create installation documentation based on existing templates and transfer knowledge to operating teams onsite and remotely
- Ensure that operational work, project related activities and on-call services are performed according to defined KPIs
- Contribute to the core business and informatics processes and solutions by applying specific knowledge of systems and tools, as well as problem solving skills, to support these processes and solutions
- Collaborate with end users to identify needs and opportunities for improved data management and delivery
- Coordinate resolution of incidents and fulfillment of service requests with multiple IT delivery partners
- Diagnose, resolve or escalate problems for resolution when appropriate
- Maintain and develop process and technical knowledge, check quality of Knowledge Articles and escalate if information is not documented in a way that Roche could reuse knowledge

Must haves:

- Min. Bachelor in Computer Sciences or any related IT field
- Min. 4+ years of experience as laboratory or manufacturing experience as 2nd/3rd level support in the pharmaceutical industry or in a regulated environment with Computer Systems
- Technical experience in manufacturing and laboratory systems, their integration and basic knowledge in common interfaces between IT & OT (eg serial connection, RS-485,OPC DA & UA)
- Previous experience in system installation and maintenance of operating systems, hardware and peripheral devices eg barcode scanner, printer etc.
- Strong technical skills in different operating systems in Windows Server , Windows 7, Windows 10 and SQL & Oracle Database
- Proven CSV Knowledge
- Fluent in German (MUSS) and English
- Service oriented attitude, being able to communicate with our customers, also in emergency situations
- High social skills, teamplayer
- Open mindset for agile ways of working
