As a key supplier of our financial client (6 month project in Zurich) we are looking for aSenior Business Analyst – Marketdata (f/m/d)
Your skills:
• Bachelor’s or higher education degree in Finance, Economics or Computer Science
• At least 7 years of working experience in financial services and as a business analyst or marketdata specialist, and a robust knowledge of financial markets and securities instruments, preferably knowledge of real time data industry and financial market in general
• Preferably knowledge in handling data on display and non-display licenses
• Preferably technical knowledge of server architecture to fulfill parts of your main duties
• Informed about current trends and directions in crypto markets
• Informed about current software architecture developments used in modern financial software
• Analytical, technical, problem solving, and communication skills are a key strength
• Collaboration skills and experience in performing in a globally spread virtual team, including a good knowledge of current collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence, MS Teams, SharePoint)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English
• Experience with agile development projects, working in agile environment and applying lean methods (using Agile HIVE a “plus”)
Your responsibilities:
• Supporting the current development of our real time market data eco system
• Independently create your own concepts based on your interactions with the team and other stakeholders to further progress the market data system and applications
• Present new ideas based on market knowledge and develop them with key MD stakeholders
• Understand customer needs and develop them into concepts
• Business-side specification and support of solutions for the integration of new services and functions with the key IT stakeholders
• Support the product and content teams in maintaining and evolving our conceptual market data business model
• Modelling of own concept in existing database models
