Workplace Platform Engineer vacancy for our Zurich based client in the insurance sector.
Your tasks:
- Supporting the eWP team with end-point platform and end-user application management
- Managing eWP team tasks from understanding of the change to its successful delivery
- Planning and implementing the technical blueprint for the change with impacted application owners and service providers
- Managing change communication with the impacted application owners, SMEs and end-users
- Deploying the change and supporting any issue resolution
- Ensuring proper tracking and reporting
Your experience/knowledge:
- 4+ years of experience working in end-user workplace technology and platform services with Microsoft end-point platforms like SCCM and Intune as workplace platform engineer
- Expertise in Windows Client, Citrix systems, Cloud VDI
- Well-versed in planning and managing addition of new application packages and/or removal of application packages from the end-user portfolio
- Adept at supporting end-users with Windows 10 and O365 Service Release upgrades from packaging, impact analysis till successful roll-out
- Language skills: English and German - fluent in written and spoken
