Electronic Specialist (m/f/d) - Temporary Position

General Summary & Overall Challenges

We are looking for an Electronic Specialist who will be in charge of electrical tasks in a high technical medical compliance environment.

The candidate will be motivated by teamwork in multidisciplinary and multi-partner projects. Disciplines include aspects such as electronics, mechanics, electrochemistry, chemistry or physics.

The position owner will be part of a very great team of passionate people developing, sustaining and maintaining products that help medical staff to save life.

Our products are highly complex, multi-disciplinary and our company size allows us to work on the full product life cycle development between Radiometer sites, from idea generation down to design transfer to production and maintenance on the field.

To become successful, this person must be enthusiastic and feel strongly for production engineering and interaction with RA/QA department and enjoy sharing passion with colleagues.

Your responsibilities:
  • Technical support of the Sensors Production Department
  • Maintenance and Repair of Test and Manufacturing Tools
  • Improving Electrical test equipment and process
  • Writing test protocols and requirements from internal and external specifications
  • Independent execution of software, hardware, and system-level tests
  • Comprehensive failure analysis with documentation and close interaction with developers to resolve technical problems
  • Ability to work in an ambitious interdisciplinary team with varying and tight timelines.
  • Identify improvement areas and propose changes for optimizing where needed by complying with the norms, regulations, and internal processes
  • Ensure very close collaboration with all other functions involved such as, RA/QA, Operations, R&D and external partners
  • Hands-on in writing documentation


Our requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree, Technician, or equivalent degree in electronic discipline
  • Knowledge of mechanics and physics
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the medical device or pharma industries
  • Experience in verification and validation procedures of product functionality in Hardware and Software
  • Strong sense of responsibility and highest quality standard of work
  • Self-motivation, excellent organizational and communication skills, impeccable attention to detail, friendly personality and team-spirit and ability to manage several tasks simultaneously, work independently in a fast-paced environment and to meet tight deadlines.
  • Fluently English & German, French would be a plus
