Beschreibung

My client, a Swiss pharmaceutical company specialised in dermatology treatments is looking for experienced IT Infrastructure Technical Operations Manager.

Support IT Infrastructure Delivery organization to deliver reliable, effective, and efficient services to business users by performing technical service management activities on the steady-state environment. Propose improvements and changes to it, resulting in optimal reliability of service delivery in a global IT Operations environment.

For the duration of the project, you will be employed directly at Computer Futures and will work for the customer as part of the temporary worker.

Your tasks as a IT Infrastructure Technical Operations Manager :
  • Accountable and responsible for technical IT Operations RUN domain:

  • Ensure reliable, effective, and efficient, and secure operations of all IT platforms and solutions that underpin IOS service delivery (including event-, incident-, problem-, service request-, patching and release management), in collaboration with outsourcing /outtasking partners, compliant with relevant regulations.
  • Ensure technical updates and upgrades to operational platforms are performed with minimal risk and minimal business disruptions. Support implementation of resilient IT Platforms ensuring business continuity, quick adaptation to disruptions, and fully supported underlying tooling, solutions, and technical operating platforms.
  • Mitigate risks by defining processes & procedures fully compliant to pharma regulatory, corporate technical and security standards, in collaboration with technical service architects in IOS Build organization.
  • Prioritization and scheduling of problems resolution and changes to the service, and drive coordination of technical resolution work for incidents and problems.
  • Support continuous improvements, updates to provided services, and automation efforts related to all relevant activities.
  • Support Service Delivery improvements from managed service vendor (through SIAM), technical platforms and solutions leveraged by the service towers.
  • Co-develop and document the capabilities, tools, solutions, and technical platforms required by the service towers in collaboration with technical service architects in IOS Build organization and support transfer to operations from new or updated service capabilities with minimal risk.
  • Knowledge management: ensure operational procedures, technical designs/standards and configuration knowledge is documented and maintained
  • Support planning of IT Platforms lifecycle updates/upgrades by providing relevant input to IOS PLAN organization and lead technical implementation of updates/upgrades in strong collaboration with service delivery partners, ensuring minimal disruption to end-user facing services.
  • Proactively plan and ensure implementation of resilient service delivery ensuring business continuity and quick adaptation to disruptions.
  • Provide Reporting and trend analysis, and ensure relevant metrics are captured for the IT Platforms.

  • Support Major Incident Management (led and driven by SIAM organization):

  • Support technical coordination of major incident task force collaborating with functional Service Delivery Manager staff in Team. Drive resolution of the IOS relevant parts of incidents leveraging relevant SMEs and handling escalations where needed



Your Profile:
  • BSc in IT or equivalent, MSc preferred
  • ITIL certified
  • Management Training a plus, Leadership training a plus
  • Project Management Certification a plus
  • Relevant Technical certifications on key Technical Operating platforms like Network,
  • VMware virtualization and Azure Cloud
  • Strong IT Operations management experience (min. 6 years), especially collaborating with offshore, and managed service partners.
  • At least 6 years in relevant Technical Service Delivery Management role, on customer or managed service provider side, in global IT Infrastructure environment with service tower operating model.
  • Sensitivity and commitment to business problem solving.
  • Broad technical expertise of IT infrastructure, IT Networking, IT applications, IT Security, etc.
  • Knowledge of GxP regulated environments a plus.
  • Fluent in English (at least B2-level)
