For our client, a renowned company in the financial industry, we are currently looking for a:CONTRACT: Linux System Engineer (m/w) - Job Ref. Nr. 13381
Your future tasks:
-In this interesting role as Linux System Engineer you will take care of a complex environment based on Linux Systems.
-In addition to solving incidents, you take care of extending and improving the systems.
-Furthermore you will work in different smaller projects around the main systems of our customer.
The execution of configuration changes and maintenance is also part of your daily business.
Your know-how and experiences:
-You have a federal diploma in IT with a further education (HF/FH) or a University degree in technology related discipline.
-Your have strong experience as System Engineer on a senior level with RedHat Enterprise Linux and RedHat Satellite and very good knowledge in Puppet and Ansible and OpenShift.
-Furthermore, you have broad knowledge in the area of networking and security and ideally experience in system hardening.
-Additional knowledge in Software Packaging and CI/CD Pipelines as well as in Oracle, PostgreSQL and VMware are a big plus.
-You have a strong attention to detail with good analytical skills.
-Fluent English skills are required. German would be a big plus.
Start: immediately (on agreement)
Duration: 6 months (with option to extension)
Workload: 100% (80% also possible)
