System Engineer vacancy requiring profound Fortinet and Cisco knowledge for our Bern based client in the telecommunications sector.
Your tasks:
- Providing onsite operations support for the security infrastructure consisting of Fortinet, Cisco and Efficient IP
- Ensuring availability management, incident management, problem management and service continuity management
- Taking responsibility for change management, capacity and performance management, configuration management as well as asset management
- Performing service validation and testing as well as release management
- Implementing patch and vulnerability management, monitoring and reporting while maintaining documentation
Your experience/knowledge:
- 5+ years of professional experience as a system engineer or in a similar role
- 3+ years of practice with Fortinet and Cisco systems
- Expertise in building and operating Fortinet and Cisco components
- Completed ICT training or equivalent qualification
- Fluent English, verbally and written
