Software Engineer vacancy requiring profound DevOps, Linux, Java, Kubernetes, Docker, Octopus and CI/CD knowledge for our Zurich based client in the financial sector.Your tasks:
- Moving to new application setup including source repository, build and deployment setup, redesign of role and access right definition
- Improving CI/CD pipeline with Jenkins and Octopus
- Moving into direction of deployment self service for projects for test and acceptance environments
- Supporting colleagues with rule project developments
Your experience/knowledge:
- Profound background as a Software or DevOps Engineer including experience with CI/CD
- Expertise in Java Development as well as with Octopus
- Good knowledge of Actico Rule Engine with experience in application management and 2nd/3rd level support
- Familiarity with Jenkins build tool, Git (Bitbucket) source control, Docker / Kubernetes and Linux
- Very good understanding of software customization processes
- Capability to analyze complex and poorly defined problems related to the application and to provide solutions with minimal guidance
- Knowledge in the financial sector and specific business knowledge is a plus
- Languages: English fluent in written and spoken, conversational German
