R&D Engineer (m/f/d)

Main tasks:
- Define the overall Verification & Validation strategy for select product families of Class II instruments and permanent implants used during endodontic treatment
- Coordinate laboratory tests with internal and external test laboratories
- Develop and agree test methods and plans together with lab personnel and occasionally also support the actual test execution
- Create, review and approve test plans, protocols and reports in English language using the companywide Electronic Document Management system
- Provide R&D support for risk management and for the creation or update of medical device labelling (Instructions-For-Use, Packaging labels)
Main qualifications
- Mechanical Engineer, material scientist or similar (level BSc or MSc)
- Profound experience in the medical device or other safety sensitive industry, with work experience in an international environment considered beneficial
- Basic knowledge of ISO13485 and European MDR regulation (GSPR)
- Project management skills
- Fluency in French and English
- Familiar with MS Office software, in particular EXCEL and WORD
- Highly autonomous, applying a structured method of working, and used to handling multiple tasks in parallel
- Attention to detail in the highly regulated medical device industry
- Able to work under time pressure
- Analytical thinking and a pragmatic approach to solving technical problems
