For one of our clients in the banking industry, we are currently looking for a Senior Solution Architect (Java + DevOps)
Start date: ASAP
Duration: End of December 2022
Location: Gümlingen (close to Bern), home office possible
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you realize as part of respective SCRUM team functionality of new Lombard Loan Securitization part of Loan Securitization and Syndication application (LSS).
This includes transforming end-to-end solution design into concrete implementation, elaboration and clarification of detail requirements on EPIC and Story level, designing, coding, testing and deploying within a modern agile environment with a strong emphasis on DevOps practices.
Contribution focus lies on functionality provided in high quality and with a strategic view on scalability and maintenance.
Essentials Skills and Qualifications
- 8+ years of proven professional experience in software development in an Enterprise context, using Java/JEE, Java Spring Boot, microservices architecture, User Interface and batch processing
- Practical knowledge of DevOps tools and modern platforms, such as Odyssey, GIT, Kubernetes/OpenShift, as well as knowledge of Mainframe environment
- Ability to cover a wider range of tasks in connection with software delivery eg Requirements Engineering, End-to-End testing
- Experience in working in a dynamic agile project delivery environment (preferably based on Scrum)
- High Seniority in dealing with difficult technical tasks and in complex environments (multi-platform architecture)
Desired Skills
- Excellent language skills in German and English (written and spoken)
- Working knowledge of Front End technologies like Angular 2+ (preferred), HTML5, React, jQuery or alike
- Possibly experience in the Financial Services industry, best case in a (Swiss) Bank
- Experience in end-to-end testing in the credits domain
