Aviation Ground Handler vacancy for a globally operating Basel based company in the pharmaceutical sector.Your experience/skills:
- Experience in aviation is a big plus
- Proficiency in ramp operations would be an advantage
- Real or secondary school diploma as well as a car driving license is required
- Languages: English, fluent in written and spoken, German or French is beneficial
Your tasks:
- Maneuvering aircraft on the ramp as well as towing Japat and tenant aircraft from the hangar to the ramp and vice versa
- Welcoming and guiding Japat and tenant passengers to and from the aircraft as well as loading and unloading customer bags to and from the aircraft baggage compartment
- Carrying out aircraft maintenance in accordance with the handling approval and manual while also operating ground service equipment including motor vehicles and tugs
- Cleaning aircraft exterior and interior plus contributing to facility services to maintain a tidy hangar, offices and hangar surroundings
- Supporting maintenance and aircraft crews in general tasks not requiring certification as well as cooperating with third party providers for receiving and sending goods or services
