Windows Linux System Engineer

Experis Switzerland is looking for an experienced Windows Linux System Engineer. Our client is a well-known consultancy. It is a temporary assignment based in Zürich including remote, with a potential extension.

- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: 6 months (option to extend)
Your profile:
- Design, implement and develop IT infrastructures
- Manage and administer production environments (VMWare/Windows/Linux environments)
- Manage and administer storage environments (SAN) and backup/archive systems
- Analyse and implement technical solutions
- Analyse, design and execute hardware and software migration plans
- Within the framework of new transformation projects, install and parameterise the systems according to the defined architecture plans, within the deadlines imposed by the project
- Train members of the Production Support team on the new implementations before going into production. Document the operating file.
Required skills
- Very strong skills in Windows and Linux network infrastructure management
- Very good knowledge of Linux and Windows Server system integration
- Good knowledge of continuous integration principles and solutions
- Good knowledge of WebServer (Apache Tomcat, ..)
- Good knowledge of SQL, MSQL, Oracle a plus
- Good network and security skills
- Good knowledge of SQL, MSQL, Oracle a plus
- Good network and security skills
- Knowledge and experience with Puppet, Kubernetes, Docker - a plus
- Knowledge and experience of solutions on Azure Cloud, Terraform, ARC - a plus
- Excellent French & English language skills
