For our client, an international bank in Zurich, we are looking for a Financial Instrument Specialist Administrator (f/m).Tasks
- Administer the financial instrument universe and ensure proper data quality in the Products & Services Portal and HOST classification
- FI Classification
- Daily classification of funds and Private Equity and in some cases also structured products
- Correction of misclassified funds in HOST
- Detect border cases and bring to the Classification & Suitability Board
- Administer, manage and conduct a regular FI classification board
- Clients Universe Management
- Part of the management of their equity research universe including life cycle management Managing 3rd party equity research in collaboration with our Advisory and Research departments including life cycle management
- Managing of their bond universe including opening process and life cycle management
- Handling of corporate actions for equites, bonds and funds
- Adapt promotion lists (Top Pick, Hold, Sell) and HK PDD calculations and manual overrides
- Managing of prices sources and price histories
- Point of contact for instrument request and
- Contact point for product inquiries, product structure and be an entry point for data management questions
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of Financial Instruments and the economic implications of the usage of these instruments
- Knowledge of Finance Products
- Experience in advisory (advisor or in a support function)
- Expert knowledge in MS Products
- Knowing how to handle / manipulate large data sets and how to correctly assess them from data security point of view
- Has to be able to prioritize tasks based on business impact and requestor
- Experience in working in advisory or investment product management in a medium sized or bigger company
- Ability to work independently and take decisions that may have bank wide impact
- Need to be up and running in no time
- Precise and efficient working style
- On-call duty Monday - Friday (Single days)
- Bachelor/University or professional experience in the FI environment /certified, licensed professional
- At least 3-6 years’ experience in the financial industry
- Very good English, especially in written form (C1), Basic German and/or French knowledge preferable, other languages are an asset
