Windows Server Engineer

Your tasks:

- Support, management and engineering of Windows Services, Infrastructure (Servers Win 2012, 2016 & 2019) and supporting services
- Lifecycle management of Windows servers based on defined processes and steps
- Installations and configuration of base services and software as needed
- Single Point of Contact for various Application responsible
- Support for Windows/AD/ADFS/software distribution in collaboration with Service Owners
- Process automation and enhancements with PowerShell within CI / CD Pipelines (Jenkins/Bitbucket)
- Documentation and training of operational organizations and customers
E-ngineering and operations for all Windows related components and interfaces including server security Hardening, Code Integrity, DSC Configuration, Group Policies, PowerShell
- Close collaboration with stakeholders, co-workers and suppliers like IAM, Access Management, Windows and Linux, Virtualization, Network and DNS, etc.
- Plan, coordinate and execute any life cycle activities with regard to windows infrastructure and surrounding systems. Plan and execute system relevant changes. Project work and project support including process definition, automation and optimization

Your experience and skills:

- Higher education in informatics
- Very good knowledge of Windows Server Administration for Win2012,2016 & 2019 including Windows Server Security Hardening, Code Integrity, DSC Configuration, Group Policies, PowerShell & CI/CD Pipelines are must-haves
- Knowledge of Jenkins/Bit bucket, ADFS, Azure AD, VM technologies (VMware/ ESX /Virtual Center), Internet Information Server, Citrix, Active Directory, Networks and storage are an advantage
- Proficiency in English, German language is an asset
