On behalf of our client, a large IT System House, we are seeking an experienced VMware Systems Engineer to support large end client projects with one of the following specializations: vSphere virtual server platform; VMware NSX virtual network security; VDI (Horizon) virtual desktop infrastructure.
VMware System Engineer (m/f/d)

Duration: 6 MM+
Main tasks:
- Support end clients with VDI platform lifecycle management
- VDI and Windows Client solution conception, implementation and support
- Work on the internal workplace product strategic development
- Upgrade and continuous improvement of the virtual server platform offering to key clients
- Implementation and deployment using vSphere /ESX
- Support clients with escalated virtual network security issues and support of the VMware NSX products
- Document client infrastructure solutions
Main qualifications
- Solid experience in VMware and ideally a number of certifications in VMware product modules
- Proven experience with an emphasis in at least one of the three areas: vSphere virtual server platform; VMware NSX virtual network security; VDI (Horizon View) virtual desktop infrastructure
- Good knowledge of Microsoft windows environment
- Fluent German language and some English
