Cloud Security Engineer (m/f/d)Are you an experienced Cloud Security Engineer (m/f/d) looking for a new project? Our client, a large pharmaceuticals company with locations and laboratories in various countries offers an interesting and exciting opportunity (m/f/d).
Your role as Cloud Security Engineer (IT) - (m/f/d)
- Work closely with the Cloud Platform Team.
- You will help us to protect our critical cloud operations by evergreening existing solutions and evaluating new ones based on good security practices.
- You will work closely with the Cloud Engineers, IT Architects, Service Owners, Cybersecurity teams, and other key stakeholders to strengthen the overall security posture of the cloud landscape.
- You will leverage your experience and know-how to understand, investigate, develop and deliver security solutions to protect the digital assets in the cloud.
- Supporting the implementation projects for cyber security solutions in the cloud, evaluating, selecting and managing vendors, engineering and operating security solutions as well as providing strong and timely support for cloud security incidents or findings.
- It is your responsibility to guide the cloud teams on identifying and closing vulnerabilities.
Required skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in infrastructure security scope.
- Know-how in AWS cloud technology (Security Hub, GuardDuty, Control Tower).
- Experience in enterprise level security management processes, familiar with the relevant security standards and frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills in English with a motivation to work in a multicultural team located globally spanning multiple time zones.
- Open mindset for learning new infrastructure technologies, scripting and agile tools and processes.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or technical discipline related to information security or cybersecurity. Master is an advantage.
- Certifications in security technologies.
- Experience in scripting, managing infrastructure as a code is an advantage.
