Requirement Engineer - requirement engineering, Systems-Engineering, PCR technologies, English and German, Model-Based System Engineering
Role:
For our client in the Pharma industry based in Rotkreuz we are looking for a Requirement Engineer.
The Systems Engineering group - consisting of circa 25 employees - is focused on the technical support and leadership of product definition predominantly within the development of technically complex systems. The department is based within the Molecular Diagnostics division of the Molecular Systems business. The roles within the group all have a strong technical/scientific focus, such as Business Domain Analysts, Requirements Engineers, Product Definition Leaders and Lead Systems Engineers Molecular Diagnostics plans to develop a new PCR instrument. A strong focus of the project will be to support up to date -user interfaces, - software features and -digital solutions options for the instrument. The software will be developed together with an external company, therefore the software requirements knowledge transfer will be one of the main tasks.
Areas of responsibility:
* Create and support the creation of the requirements and specifications on the different levels and ensure consistency across different levels
* Support the risk management regarding criticality and rating of requirements
* Decompose higher level requirements into lower level requirements of specifications with an appropriate level of detail
* Lead requirements analysis, ensuring that requirement statements are complete, consistent, concise, comprehensive, traceable, feasible, unambiguous and verifiable and that they conform to standards
* Input for improvement areas for the requirements management process
* Enter, manipulate and report on requirements stored in the requirements management tool
* Define requirement attributes and facilitate their use throughout the project
* Organize and facilitate peer reviews
* Ensure consistency of structure in the tool
Professional and technical requirements:
* Bachelor or Master degree as a software engineer or in a biochemical discipline or a related discipline eg Mechanical Engineer, electrical engineer
* At least 3 years of professional experience in requirement engineering
* Solid working knowledge in requirement specification and Systems-Engineering, preferably master Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE)
* Experience with life cycle-tools/Requirements engineering Tool (as example codeBeamer)
* Experience in the PCR technologies, within a laboratory environment as a plus
* Interpersonal skills in building trustful relationships with peers in a multi-cultural environment
* Business fluency in English and German, spoken and written
* Self-motivation with a great ability to find solutions to complex problems
* Good analytical thinking, a structured working manner, ability to prioritize, plan and manage multiple tasks with a sense of urgency
