Datacenter Engineer

Experis Switzerland is looking for a Datacenter Engineer. Our client is an IT consultancy and you will work for the end-client.

Location: Zürich
Start Date: 01. August or as soon as possible
Duration: 12 months (option to extend)
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Hands-on experience: Mount/unmount Servers, Servers cable connectivity (copper and fibers), Deploying Windows and Linux OS (installation, troubleshooting, configuration, and administration), Data Center maintenance/audits (electricity, floor, racks, ventilation etc.), Storage: BAR (tape maintenance, backup/restore jobs) IBM, Dell, Netapp
- Systems and Software: Working with CRM systems, Servers implementation: HP/Dell, Servers OS software: Windows/Linux, Programing: Python/Shell Scripts (BASH)
- Leadership & Projects: Prioritizing tickets/Work according SLA, Leading projects, Leading a team
