Medical Device Technical Expert vacancy 50% for a globally operating Basel based company in the pharmaceutical sector.Your experience/skills:
- 3+ years of industry experience in the pharmaceutical sector or a related industry
- Excellent understanding of relevant requirements for design controls and QMS requirements for medical devices
- Capability of evaluating, problem-solving, and decision-making
- Ability to collaboratively work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in a scientific or relevant discipline; an advanced degree is desirable
- Languages: English fluent in written and spoken, additional knowledge of local site languages is a plus
Your tasks:
- Performing maintenance of medical devices and working on technical issues regarding the device portfolio
- Overseeing QA activities and approving associated change request cases
- Approving the Design History File and Device Master Record as well as design changes
- Representing QA in post marketing surveillance activities and contributing to periodic management reports
- Interacting with and monitoring the quality of third party companies involved in the manufacturing to maintain quality agreements with third parties
- Supporting the maintenance of the QMS as well as of the ISO 13485 and EU MDR certification
