Cisco Engineer Senior vacancy for our Zurich based client in the telecommunications sector.Your experience/skills:
- 3+ years of clearly demonstrated satisfactory work performance in in network administration based on Cisco (LAN, WLAN, switching and routing)
- Strong background in Cisco und Juniper at Professional or Expert level along with sound knowledge in the areas of TCP/IP, routing and switching as well as security
- Experience in object-oriented software development (Java, Angular), automation, with development tools and software deployment pipeline and test automation as well as a know-how of IS-IS, MPLS and BGP protocols
- Languages: Fluent English
Your tasks:
- Ensuring that networks are stable and secure as well as analyzing and fixing errors
- Writing scripts for automation and working on developing enhancement to use Big Data analytics tools
- Supporting customers with technical issues and providing on-call service
- Assisting in a dynamic team with an agile set up while also contributing ideas
