Senior IT SOX Analyst vacancy requiring profound SAP and Audit knowledge for our Zurich based client in the telecommunications sector.Your experience/skills:
- Several years of professional work experience as Senior IT SOX Analyst in assurance, accounting or auditing functions, background in media, telecommunications or entertainment industry is a plus
- Practical knowledge and experience in working with SAP, Visio such as creating Flow Charts and diverse billing systems
- Capability to plan and manage own work load including delivery to deadlines and quality standards with an analytical mind and big attention to detail
- Ability to work in teams, support colleagues in completing tasks, as well as working independently
- Bachelor or equivalent degree in Management Information Systems / Information Technology or degree in Accounting/Finance aligned with IT SOX experience
- Languages: English, fluent in written and spoken, German fluent is highly desirable
Your tasks:
- Implementing SOX and supervising testing's on an established SOX control program
- Performing SOX IT General and IT Application Controls through walkthroughs and communication with business units to determine the appropriate design of controls
- Conducting tests of design effectiveness and operating effectiveness according to internal control testing guidance
- Providing support and input to the development and implementation of guidance according to the internal SOX compliance process as well as assisting delivery of global SOX requests in relation to yearly deliverables and timelines
- Monitoring and reporting on the timely delivery of documentation for audit requests while also participating in the management of external auditor requests in relation to SOX testing for IT controls
- Supporting management in closing design gaps, remediating deficiencies and deficiency look back analysis
