Cloud Security Engineer - Azure / PowerShell - vacancy for a globally operating Basel based company in the financial sector.Your experience/skills:
- Professional experience with designing, implementing and operating cloud native systems and services including open source and commercial third-party solutions
- Proficiency in PowerShell and other automation languages such as Python
- A thorough understanding of security tools in Azure platform, as well as the ability to configure and manage Linux servers
- Solid knowledge of containers and container orchestration
- Languages: English, fluent in written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Providing security engineering support to cloud deliverables, ensuring logging and monitoring implementation, sound identity and access management and configuration monitoring & management
- Assisting with support and maintenance of on premises security system, as well as security engineering support of the container environment
- Contributing to a well-informed cloud strategy and integration plan, developing and documenting cloud patterns, guidelines and guardrails cloud technologies
- Implementing solutions from proof-of-concept through production using infrastructure automation and configuration management as appropriate
- Engaging in research and development towards innovative architecture and technical solutions that will provide business benefit
