Network/System Analyst - System Engineer - Medical Devices vacancy for a globally operating Basel based company in the pharmaceutical sector.Your experience/skills:
- 5+ years of experience in medical device development, or other highly regulated industries aligned with working experience in requirements and traceability management tools
- Well-versed in SaMD development, Quality Management System, and regulatory processes plus competency of system design using UML/SysML diagrams with good abstraction skills and the ability to decompose to device and software sub-systems
- Expertise in Web and Mobile application design, development and testing, as well as Cloud and IoT architecture and technologies for complex systems necessary, with application to SaMD
- Know-how of the best practices for software development in addition to experience with UX, prototypes, proof of concept activities and cyber security
- Bachelor or more advanced degree in Biomedical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or other relevant disciplines
- Languages: English, fluent in written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Designing and implementing systems engineering approach to support the development and life cycle management of complex products and platforms in the areas of connected drug delivery devices, digital technologies, and SaMD
- Demonstrating strong technical know-how at system level and guiding the project teams for product development on defining pain points, user needs and technical design input requirements
- Structuring and visualizing the system and integrating into a wider eco-system as well as using the system engineering tool for requirements management and translate user and business needs into system requirements
- Maintaining and monitoring the traceability from the requirements to the verification activities while also implementing risk management at systems level and coordinating risk management activities at component level
- Reporting on integrated system design verification and validation activities plus acting as representative of system engineering for the communications with cross-divisional teams, programs, and stakeholders
