Scientist vacancy for a globally operating Basel based company in the pharmaceutical sector.Your experience/skills:
- Deep knowledge of cell biology, cell physiology, biochemistry and pharmaceutical development
- Solid know-how of cell formulation, cryopreservation, primary packaging selection and fill and finish technologies
- Working experience with primary cell culture and aseptic handling
- Expertise with cell based assays and viral vectors will be considered as a plus
- Master degree in relevant field such as Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnologies or equivalent with post-grad experience in a Pharma Company or Bachelor degree with 3 years' relevant experience in a Pharma Company
- Languages: English, fluent in written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Organizing, performing and documenting scientific experiments for the development of cell and gene therapy drug products
- Utilizing equipment and specialized facilities for the formulation and processing of cell and gene therapy products under minimal guidance of experienced team members
- Providing documentation of raw data, evaluating and interpreting results and supporting the design of next experiments
- Writing protocols and lab procedures combined with performing information and literature searches
- Contributing initiatives and communicating problems in order to ensure proactive compliance and continuous improvement
- Performing your tasks in accordance with the standards defined in Quality Manual, health safety environment (HSE) and information security (ISEC)
