Role:- Data scientist/scientific data curator
Services Definition & Scope:
- Scientific data curation focusing on internal and external data
- Plan, execute and report on curation activities, assay registration activities and bulk transfer of data from operational systems to new registration systems
- Execute curation activities in various areas:
o Internal Assays:
- Semi-automated curation and annotation of defined assays stored in Pharon, Helios, ARES
- Creation of the metadata linked to new split values for the panel assays
o External assays:
- Data Curation Framework based curation of ChEMBL assays (to be used by Core Data Foundation)
- Analysis and development of other Data Curation Framework based curation of other external sources (potential impact on Assay Search, Core Data Foundation)
o Other areas:
- Continuous integration of prioritized use cases using the data curation framework
- Report on data curation activities, assay registration activities and bulk transfer of data from operational systems to new registration systems
- Support data curation and integrity strategy
- Project and Service Documentation (e.g. Requirements, Small Projects, Confluence, Jira, NIBRTalk….)
- Project Management with regard to above mentioned points
Must haves:
- Several years as Data Scientist or Data Curator
- Experience in Project Management
- Experience with Service Documentation (Confluence,Jira)
- Experience with data curation framework
- Experience in pharma industry
