For a longer term project at our Banking client’s site in Zurich, we are looking for an experiencedSenior IT Infrastructure Project Manager - Endpoint Security / Virtualised Environments (3253)
Our client is looking for an experienced senior project manager with large scale infrastructure, engineering and deployment experience for the stream Endpoint Security in a strategic program . Besides excellence in project management, the successful candidate has to be proficient (or native) in English language. For this role we also require base IT know-how, particularly advantageous would be experience in antivirus, end user malware etc.
Your qualifications:
- Degree in Informatics or relevant work experience
- Excellent soft skills, leadership and virtual team experience
- Experienced project manager with infrastructure engineering and deployment experience to large numbers of end users.
- In-depth technical know-how in the Identity and Access Management area (IAM)
- Experience in the software development lifecycle, the domain of the application and platform
- Profound knowledge and practical expertise in the application of relevant project methodologies
- Open to collaborate in an international and multi-cultural environment
- A can do attitude and willingness to go the extra mile when required
- English language excellence (proficiency level), German is advantage
- Tact and the ability to drive technical engineering teams to meet very demanding timescales while still keeping the support and good will of the technical team
- PMI, IPM, Prince or equivalent education / certification in project management
- Experience with the deployment of the following technologies & products:
o Virtual end user platform based on VDIs
o Terminal server based application delivery
o Mobile device security (MDM / MAM platforms)
o BYOD security controls
o such as RSA
o Network Access Control
o Citrix XenDesktop, XenApp, XenMobile, Netscaler, StoreFront
o Mcafee endpoind security products
Your responsibilities:
- Initializing the project including scoping, planning and resource allocations aligning all expectations
- Performing appropriate stakeholder management and communication
- Tracking project progress, milestones and deliverables and manage any deviations
- Managing risk & issues from identification to mitigation
- Organizes and leads the project and the team on mandate of Program Manager
- Manages relationship with all project stakeholders (CIO function, Business, BSM, Interface partners, etc.)
- Coordinates regularly with the Business Project Lead concerning requirements, project plan and reporting
- Provides the project plan and updates it as needed (deadlines, milestones, delivery, requested and planned resources etc.)
- Ensures all necessary sign-offs according to the guidelines and performs all relevant reviews
- Ensures provision of cost and effort estimations Staffs the project by requesting resources, e.g. PMO, BA, DEV
- Prepares information and recommendation for choosing the appropriate sourcing pattern
