For our client, a pharmaceutical company in Basel, Switzerland, we are looking for a:
Professional Project Manager with Business Analysis Experience
Main responsibilities:
- You help manage the day-to-details in the role of the all-important right-hand person of the lead project manager.
- You can act in a project support capacity and perform tasks necessary to keep a project running smoothly.
- In some cases, you carry the lion's share of responsibility for project support tasks (updating the project schedule, taking minutes at meetings, responding to emails, and writing progress reports).
- You evaluate the progress of the project to ensure that the timeline is followed steadily and consistently.
- You keep an open line of communication with the project participants.
- You gather requirements and information through interviews with project contributors and stakeholders and study the procedures and systems currently in place.
- You support the project team in the creation of user manuals and other project documentation.
Requirements:
- 5-8 years experience as Business Analyst with Project Management or Project Management with Business Analysis experience, effectively supporting cross functional project teams in a highly matrixed organization with non-co-located teams, preferably in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in project management, operational improvement, and business analytics
- Strong and demonstrated ability in verbal and written communications.
- Fluent in English (spoken & written) is required; additional languages, preferably German, are a plus.
- Professional certification (PMP) preferred but not necessary
- Experience in the pharma industry a plus but not required
