For our client, a pharmaceutical company in Basel, Switzerland, we are looking for a motivated and ambitious:  Professional IT Service Manager - Pharma - Basel

Description:

  • Designing and implementing the service level management policy and processes.
  • Introducing and updating the required standards methods and tools. Designing and implementing availability and performance management processes standards methods and tools.
  • The project aim is to manage the resource of a platform that runs approximately 200 Internet websites which are mainly used by the marketing and development team of our client.
  • Within the month of November, the platform will go through a number of changes and therefore the contractor will have to manage the transition to the new version, as well as to take over the Service Knowledge Management. There will also take place a decommissioning process: some of the Business Units are moving off the platform and with it, there will have to be deleted a number of websites on the platform.
  • This position will not be hands-on, the Professional IT Service Manager will have to overlook and manage the processes (Status Updates, KPI check, Service Enhancement). He/She will work in a team - one ream running the platform in Poland and another team responsible of the migration of this platform.

Skillset:

  • Strong knowledge about ITIL processes, as well as ITIL certification
  • Very good experience with managing integration development or operation teams
  • Strong people management skills
  • English is necessary

Nice to have:

  • Pharma experience
