Project Manager - IT Security - Financial Services - Zurich
Senior IT Project Manager with Security experience sought by our client, a large financial institution. This project is currently lacking a strong project manager who is experienced with running international projects in the IT Infrastructure/Cyber Security.
Role
- A challenging and exciting position as senior project manager in the thriving area of IT security addressing emerging threats and regulatory requirements
- The opportunity to lead an ambitious global change projects in the IT security space covering Cyber Security
- End-to-end project management responsibility from planning, initialisation, progress tracking to the successful completion of a project in line with the planned budget
- Close regular interaction and collaboration with key international stakeholders and partners (eg Security Architecture, Technology Risk Management, Operations and Audit)
Detailed responsibilities include:
- Initializing the project including scoping, planning and resource allocations aligning all expectations
- Performing appropriate stakeholder management and communication for many stakeholders from various areas globally (including preparation and moderation of steering committee meetings)
- Tracking project progress, milestones and deliverables and manage any deviations
- Managing risk & issues from identification to mitigation
- Managing complex requirements balancing costs and benefits
Candidate profile
- Experience in the management of large international or globally-facing projects as well as proven performance with end-to-end delivery
- Infrastructure experience and knowledge
- An ability to work collaboratively and manage various stakeholders across cultures in a global environment
- Strong experience with IT Cyber Security projects paired with a good understanding of the technology in the Cyber Security space (Virtual Private Networks, Firewalls etc.
- Excellent communication skills in English
