for a Senior .NET Developer

Project environment

A global Swiss Bank is seeking a candidate for a Senior .NET Developer role within a small
development team that works closely with its business users.

Tasks
• 20% of role will be non-development, involving such things as QA testing, client facing design discussions, Level 3 production support and technical troubleshooting.

Requirements
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills are essential.
• Min 3 years in a client facing environment.
• Min 5 years in an agile environment, including unit test development.
• Min 8 years of development experience
• Min 8 years Object Orientated development experience with .NET C# & ADO.NET, of which 3 years is .NET 3.5 or higher.
• Min 8 years T-SQL.
• Min 5 years ASP.NET, JavaScript, AJAX & HTML5.
• Min 3 years multi-tiered and multi-threaded solutions.
• Min 2 year LINQ & XML.
• Experience in a financial environment is an asset.
• Experience in a Scrum environment is an asset.
• Experience of Silverlight or WPF, WCF, Windows forms, web services, windows services, ADO.NET entity framework, Business Objects is an asset.
• Experience of development with complex T-SQL query optimization, high performance back end systems, data warehouses, web UI design, distributed solutions, reports, build packaging and deployment is an asset.
• Experience of design patterns, refactoring, NANT, Team City is an asset.

Soft skills
• Excellent English (written and spoken), German is an asset.
• Excellent communication skills and team orientated approach.
• Expected to work in a flexible, dynamic environment.
