For our client, an international pharmaceutical company, based in Basel, we are looking for a
Platform Integration Project Manager
Tasks:
- Deliver the overall success of the ERP/TM integration projects
- Project planning, critical path optimization and monitoring of day to day progress and handling of delays and changes with support of the PMO
- Coordinate and facilitate the delivery of project objectives jointly with other project managers
- To ensure that the business and IT aspects are completely aligned and that the whole project team acts as a single entity to deliver the goals.
- Establish and drive a strong integration testing governance end-to-end with rules and quality metrics.
- Escalates and troubleshoot technical issues when the need arises, and follow up the Escalation Governance procedure
- Lead high performing teams, set overall direction and processes, team and individual performance objectives and measure achievement against these
- provide appropriate coaching, training and other development needs, manage budget and headcount to accomplish the following tasks and objectives:
- Establish processes and metrics that measure and improve team performance
- Own projects' risk management activities with a focus on establishing and executing effective mitigation plans, in line with Governance.
- Manage the relationship with critical partners to the project at corporate level:
- Support the delivery of Requirements specifications to be timely and in quality delivered; Consistently test the solution and support the User acceptance tests activities during Roll-out
- Define & maintain all project implementation related processes, manage implementation life cycle
- Supports the management of the 3rd party contracts and IT vendors portfolio providing project program specific aspects, costs & effort tracking besides forecasting information
Your Profile:
- Experience in managing large, international ERP projects required
- Project Management skills, Formal project management certification highly desired (PMP)
- Strong customer focus and impact and influence skills.
- IT administration competence, including budget and headcount management
- Good networker both with internal stake holders and external partners and suppliers
- Overall understanding of business processes and interdependencies
- Knowledge in freight forwarding and logistics, and with SAP TM is a strong advantage
- International work experience and Willingness to travel
- Ability to work under pressure and deal with tight deadlines
- Ability to challenge status quo and capable of innovative thinking
- Good business English essential, German, optional
