Lync System Engineer/Administrator
Your tasks:
- Administration and support of the Lync- and Exchange Infrastructure
- Change and release testing and implementation
- Installation of new components
- Reviewing and creating documentation and work instructions
- Troubleshooting
- Collaboration within projects
- Deep analysis of logs and reports
- Ensure 2nd level support to other departments
- Ensure consistency with other regions (AMER/EMEA/APAC)
- Ability to work off business hours
Requirements:
- 3 years experience of supporting a complex Lync UC environment
- Strong Microsoft Lync experience (preferred Lync 2013) in design and operation
- Lync Client and Server troubleshooting experience
- Experience in generating Lync reports
- Knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure focusing on IP Telephony technologies
- Understanding of other technologies required to run an enterprise level infrastructure
- Experience in supporting technologies like Exchange 2010 and Active Directory (big plus)
- Scripting skills (PowerShell)
- Networking knowledge (Protocol, Routing and VLAN)
- Security knowledge (Firewall)
