E-Discovery Consultant with Symantec Discovery Accelerator (2728)For a six month contract which is likely to be extended at our banking client based in Zurich we are looking for an experienced Nuix E-Discovery Consultant.
Scope of Work:
This role is an eDiscovery support function to acquire, search, organize and present key electronic records (mainly but not exclusively email) to support confidential/sensitive Legal and H.R. enquiries and investigations.
The role includes developing and enhancing existing process documentation to ensure that delivery of material is efficient and consistent.
The role will require effective coordination with other IT teams to acquire records that are not directly accessible.
Skills
We are looking for candidates with:
Familiarity with eDiscovery tools, in particular Symantec Discovery Accelerator; Nuix; Sherpa Discovery Attender.
Familiar with standard eDiscovery methodology.
Scripting ability to allow ad hoc requests to process unstructured data to be effectively handled (eg Perl, Python)
Microsoft Office (including advanced Excel)
Electronic Mail (RFC 822 & Exchange)
An understanding of Microsoft and Unix based distributed computing environments is beneficial to understand what records of electronic communications are available.
Awareness of trading settlement systems to understand the type of records these systems hold.
Awareness of trading/market data IM (eg Reuters, Bloomberg) functionality.
Ability to engage effectively to internal Clients (notably General Counsel and H.R.) (i) to understand requirements for a particular request (ii) to turn Business requirements into technical requests/activities (iii) to summarize and present the resulting information back to the Business requestor.
A high degree of discretion is required for this role.
Excellent documentation skills to ensure that key processes are documented in an effective manner.
