Project Manager - Infrastructure Technology
On behalf of our client, a major bank, we are looking for an experienced project manager with good IT understanding to join a highly capable and international team.
Your tasks:
- Managing all aspects of a program or project, which includes project planning, execution, timing, quality, cost and early identification of potential issues
- Coordinating a team of experienced project managers, either directly or as part of a Matrix organization, ensuring efficient use of resources
- Ensuring effective stakeholder management and engagement: identifying and managing senior stakeholders and clients, evaluating their interests and establishing effective communication channels
Your experience/skills:
- Direct PM Training (ideally certified) PMI and/or PRINCE2
- Good technical understanding about Infrastructure technology topics
- Knowledge in distributed systems and virtualization, knowledge of MidRange & Mainframe a plus
- Experience with direct financial budget responsibilities and P&L
- Understanding of Network Topology & Storage (SAN & NAS) preferred (medium depth)
- Languages: good German and English skills both written and spoken
