For one of our major clients in the financial sector we are looking for a Cloudera/Hadoop Expert. They have started a new project on big data .
Responsibilities:
- Set up the platform from the ground
- Working with the Hadoop set of tools, in particular the Cloudera distribution
- Ordering Servers, installing the software, configuring the Cloudera product, start loading data, start analysing data.
- Participating in the architecture, implementation, and maintenance of our Big Data Pipeline.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years experience with Hadoop/Cloudera and related components (MapReduce, HBase, Hive)
- 5-7 years working in Linux environment
- Hands-on experience with Big data
- Experience working with one or more of the following: MatLab, Mahout, R, Powercenter
