Application Manager

We are currently looking for an Application Manager to take ownership of several applications within the space of quantitative finance, be the point of contact for Front Office units as well as the quant team, provide 2nd level support, and manage change requests. This is a contract assignment in Zurich.
Tasks
- Take ownership of 2-3 applications within markets IT
- Provide 2nd level support for internal customers, Sales, Trading
- Receive change requests from front units and relate to IT development
- Point of contact and "first line of defense" for all concerns related to applications under management
- Ensure stable and high-performance day-to-day operation of application
Requirements
- Experience as Application Manager or similar in a banking environment
- Several years of experience within the Financial Services industry - solid knowledge of underlying banking processes
- Very good knowledge in Scripting with PowerShell
- Very good understanding of .NET environments and related tools, applications, interfaces, etc.
- Good understanding of distributed application landscapes a strong asset
- Fluent in English, German desirable
