Senior Embedded Software Consultant
A Global client of mine with development offices in Switzerland have an immediate requirement for a Senior Embedded Consultant to join them on an initial 12-month contract Lead technical development activities for Embedded software components of medical devices used in combination products, eg auto-injectors, pumps.
The company
The company are a global client of with development offices in Switzerland where they house a global team of specialists working on a unique medical device development at there R&D facility.
Partial remote working will be made an option after an initial period.
Senior Embedded Software Consultant Role
The ideal candidate would have experience generating DHF documentation, including but not limited to design input requirements, technical specifications, design verification, design validation, and design transfer. They are organized and structured in their approach and able to drive a technical team to reach solutions that meet with drug development milestones.
Micro processor based Embedded C development and interfacing, any experience with i2s, i2c, spi, canbus, uart, tcp and particuraly wireless protocol experience such as BLE, Bluetooth or 2g, 3g, 4g is seen as very useful.
Due to the role requirements, a good understanding of medical device regulations (FDA 21CFR 820, EU Medical Device Directive) and of combination products (US) and standards (any CE or EMC marking) is necessary.
