Experis IT Switzerland is urgently looking for a Conversion Data Management Specialist to join one of their clients in Zurich, a globally renowned organization with a fantastic brand! For this role we are looking for a candidate ideally with experience in a similar role to start ASAP who can speak fluent English.
Conversion Data Management Specialist (limited term 100%)
We offer:
- A challenging position within Asset Management as a Conversion Data Management Specialist where you will be part of a centralized function with cross disciplinary responsibilities
- You would join an international and dynamic team within the AM Operations Department
- The opportunity to support the team in implementation of the new Asset Management Platform
- The responsibility for data maintenance for accounts, instruments, benchmarks, prices and positions for all business and control areas
- You will have the opportunity to work on the identification and analysis of complex data issues
- The identification, set up and maintenance of security data as well as supporting the overall benchmark processes
- The responsibility for the referencing and linking of Issuers and Issues and determination of ratings for Investment Guideline Controlling
Required skill set/experience:
- 2+ years' experience of operational data management experience within an established financial institution, investment bank, fund management organization, in-house data group or data vendor
- Good understanding of financial instruments, assets classes including Fixed Income, Equities, Funds, Derivatives, etc. and the relevant reference/static data universe
- Knowledge of vendor data feeds (Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters), databases and products that update, maintain and deliver data to downstream system would be highly beneficial
- Experience with Aladdin would also be highly beneficial
- Knowledge of investment guidelines (BVV2, FINMA, UCITS) would be desirable
- A highly self-motivated personality with the ability to work independently
- Strong team spirit and willingness to work in a dynamic team
- Ability to stay organized and to complete tasks efficiently, accurately and on time
- Extensive experience as a user of Bloomberg and MS Excel
- Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills both in German and English
