Our client, one of the biggest pharmaceutical companies based in Basel, is looking for a Professional Project Assistant having 5 to 7 years of experience with administrative duties within an international/pharmaceutical environment.

This is a contracting role based in the Basel area and planned to start from mid of August until the end of year with extensions opportunities.

Background:

Our client is looking for an experienced administrative assistant with good English skills in their Global Privacy Operations Informatics Support department.

This department is supporting the Global Privacy Office whenever there is Administrative Informatics Support needed in order to respond to any incoming requests related to Data Privacy.

Its main tasks are to connect to the application/solution owners and request data extracts which are provided back to the GPO.

This role will also help supporting/organizing the GPO generic mailbox as well as key owner of the Global Privacy Informatics Support Mailbox.

In addition it will manage the Global Data Privacy Network (Setup and facilitate bi-weekly networking meetings).

Tasks:

  • Support all processes related to GDPR and Data Privacy regulations compliance
  • Supports managing Data Privacy Request responses
  • Keeps abreast of Data Privacy Request timelines
  • Supports the local privacy organization (DPC, DPO) with process expertise
  • Ensures correct usage of DSR and Data Breach Tracker and maintains the access groups
  • Regularly updates master data for named DPO and DPC
  • Actively communicates with the GPO and supporting organizations in IT, eDiscovery and Security
  • Actively manage the GPO community and their regular meetings

Ideal Profile:

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in an office environment undertaking administrative duties
  • Must be an organized and efficient self-starter who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Able to prioritize, multi-task and meet multiple deadlines in a short time frame
  • Good level of numeracy and an ability to manage information
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluency in English is a must
  • High school diploma or better

Nice to Haves:

  • German is an asset
  • Google suite and General MS Office knowledge
  • A sense of humor
