We are currently looking for a Junior Network Ordering Specialist/Program Manager for an international IT-company. The Network Ordering Specialist will be responsible for the ordering of leased telecom circuits, datacenter statement of work, and general telecoms orders with 3rd party vendors. The candidate should have solid business skills and technical knowledge of telecom systems (DWDM, Fiber Optics, Data Centers, PoPs). She/He should be well versed with networking technologies and find it easy to work with various system tools. He/She should have good communication skills.
Your Key-responsibilities:
* Liaise with commercial teams for day to day orders of network assets.
* Ability to understand telecom order forms and basic technical terms.
* Solve billing or invoices issues with 3rd party vendors as needed.
* Update documentation pertaining to general network orders as required.
* Monitor ticket queues and other network tools
* Adhere to standard change management
Your Profile:
* Engineering graduate or business school graduate. (engineering/telecoms background)
* Minimum of 2 years of experience with optical networks, data centers, or information technology networks.
* Contracts experience/vendor experience/good tech experience
* Proficient in English
* Relevant experience of minimum 2 years Preferred qualifications:
* Experience working in Middle East, Africa, and Eastern Europe.
* Experience with multi-vendor transport networks and familiarity with multiple Optical Transport vendors.. Experience with Google Docs
* Program Management
* Good communicator
