Software Integrator (Solaris, Linux, Oracle Database, DBaaS, Jenkins, migrating, packaging, Scripting, testing)
SOFTWARE INTEGRATOR JOB IN ZURICH (6-month contract)
A renowned tier-1 banking client of mine is looking for a Software Integration contractor to fill a vacancy in Zurich in a migration project. The project centres around moving from Legacy infrastructure to a modern one.
As a Software Integrator your main responsibilities will include: OS migration from Solaris to Linux (including packaging); database migration from Oracle to DBaaS; building packages with Jenkins/Maven; network migration; interface and post-migration tests.
Experience and skills:
- Previous experience in migration projects;
- Understanding of enterprise scale applications, including Java code and package structure;
- Building with Jenkins/Maven;
- Windows and Linux Shell Scripting - imports and configuration;
- Software packaging process towards automatic deployment - Linux and Windows client packages;
- Fluent in English.
