Java Fullstack Developer

Stott and May have an exciting new opportunity for an Java Full Stack Developer for a long term project in Zurich! The successful candidate will be designing, developing, evaluating and improving an automated end-2-end testing solution based on Java and Ruby.
Key Skills/Experience:
* 3+ years of working experience in software design or graduate with equivalent knowledge
* Very good understanding of (test) automation and configuration management (eg Ansible, Puppet), modern databases and virtualisation technologies (eg OpenStack, VMWare, Docker)
* 3+ years of working experience with common object-oriented programming-/Scripting languages (eg Ruby, Java, Python) or graduate with equivalent knowledge
* Profound understanding of Linux Operating Systems and command line tools
* Basic Skills in Network Technologies (CCNA level or equivalent)
* Cloud Security and virtualised Firewall function knowledge and working experience are a plus
* Knowledge of industry practices such as Continuous Integration (SCM, CI, Deployment, ITIL or TDD) is a plus
