DBA contract job - MS SQL and DBA - Lausanne or Geneva, Switzerland
We are searching for an experienced DBA to take on an exciting contract opportunity working on both MS SQL and Oracle databases. You have the opportunity to work in either Lausanne or Geneva. Fluent French and English are mandatory. Eligibility to work in Switzerland is required. Candidates who are immediately available will be given preference.
Description:
- Performing repair actions on faulty databases
- Planning and monitoring database usage
- Implement, maintain and operate distributed databases
- Monitoring Data Integrity
- Performing database monitoring for processes, objects and reports
- Managing database objects (tablespaces, tables, indexes, and so on)
- Preparation and execution of backup, reorganization and restart procedures for databases
- Troubleshooting when using database systems
DBMS:
- MS-SQL
- Oracle 9 -12
- SQL on Azure
