3rd Level Support - MarkLogic wanted for our Zurich based client in the IT service sector.
Your experience/skills:
- 4+ years' work experience as 3rd Level Support with excellent knowledge of MarkLogic
- Expertise in supporting business applications ideally in financial service organizations
- Experience with Unix (handling files, searching logs, checking processes) and SQL querying (Oracle/MS SQL)
- Outstanding problem solving skills which are demonstrated through previous education or career experience
- Languages: fluent English and German both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Providing day-to-day 3rd Level Technical/Application Support for specific software applications in wealth management
- Installing, maintaining and monitoring MarkLogic database server software in accordance with MarkLogic database standards and best practices
- Administrating MarkLogic database security as well as monitoring and addressing MarkLogic database server performance issues
- Writing appropriate documentation of policies and procedures for MarkLogic database administration functions
- Supporting the application development staff by developing efficient XQuery code to access and manipulate MarkLogic database objects as projected in functional requirements
