Windows Server Engineer
The Stamford Group are delighted to be hiring an IT Infrastructure Windows Server Engineer for a well-known bank. Our client are looking for candidates with 3+ years experience in a Windows Environment and who pride themselves on being an "IT all-rounder" willing to lend a hand in different areas, the ideal candidate must understand German and have very strong Active Directory and SCCM knowledge. This role will be ideal for someone who wants to work for a financial company but not in a big business.
Role Purpose:
You will be a member of the Windows platform team which is in charge of the Workplace, Windows Server, MS SQL products and IAM. In a team of 15 people you make certain the business and IT processes run fluidly on the products and platforms of our client alongside providing an excellent service to customers.
Key Accountabilities:
- Development of solutions in a multi-domain Windows environment
- Maintening and enhancing of our clients Active Directory and Group Policies
- Automation of installation and configuration work in the Windows Server environment
- Developing and maintaining the Citrix platform
- Windows patching
Skills:
- Very competent Windows Server 2016 and Active Directory skills
- SW configurations in SCCM and Group Policies
- Scripting with PowerShell
- Strong understanding of German
- Attention to detail, adaptable and hzard-working
- Solution-oriented and can use your own initiative
Required Experience:
- 3+ years experience in the Windows environment
- Work in a structured and controlled environment
- Experience in the banking or insurance industry
- Solid IT basic education at HTL level or higher
- Programming or Scripting with .Net, Java, PHP or Python
- MCSE or a comparable or role-relevant certification
- Application integration incl. Configuration of IIS and MS SQL
- Basic knowledge of PKI implementation in the Microsoft environment
- Interest in IT and infrastructure topics and training are a plus
