Linux Engineer - Cyber Security/Splunk/Tripwire
This is a long term contract opportunity for an experienced 1st/2nd line Engineer to join a global financial service organisiation.
Your experience/skills:
- In-depth experience with Linux and Splunk, including writing efficient queries, building dashboards, troubleshooting issues
- Strong problem solving skills
- Excellent debugging and problem solving skills combined with proficiency of Information- and Cyber Security
- Background in niche security products, such as Resilient, Anomali, EnCase, Proof Point and PhishMe
- Training or Certification in ITIL V3 as well as Agile principles and approach are a plus
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Supervising various infrastructure systems with different tools, and taking action for avoiding failure of services
- Supporting up to 12 security critical tools
- Improving processes, monitoring or services with regard to existing configurations
- Implementing improvements as well as managing break/fix issues with the infrastructure of the security products
- Establishing of upgrades, new products and new tools
- Supporting the review of new products as well as participating in cross-team training
