Our client, one of the biggest pharmaceutical companies based in Basel, is looking for a Senior MES Application Manager who has strong experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
This is a contracting role based in the Basel area and planned to start in June until end of the year with extension opportunities.

Project background:
For the Manufacturing IT Team we are looking for someone to support our Manufacturing Execution Systems (PMX Rockwell and Laetus) on site. You will perform the 2nd Level Support for the applications we manage, working following ITIL and CSV guidelines, define, run and document changes within the system. The candidate will be in close collaboration with Business, Quality Assurance and global IT and will also support running projects. To be prepared for the job an intensive training will be carried out at the beginning of the employment.
Tasks:

Implementation and validation of systems and IT processes in the manufacturing area

Install and maintain the PMX Rockell Application and Laetus track and trace

Troubleshoot by analysing logs and Database tables

2nd Level Support
-
Support of projects
-
Once onboard on call support

Close collaboration with internal and external partners like Business, Informatics, Engineering and Suppliers
Ideal Profile:
-
8+ year experience with Application management
-
3 - 4 years' experience in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
-
Experience in specifying, configuring, testing and documenting of systems and applications
-
Self-reliant, resilient, flexible and have a high service orientation

Good technical understanding with good networked thinking

Good communication skills
-
German speaking
-
SQL/Oracle knowledge
