Database Administrator and Third Level Support with profound MS SQL knowledge wanted for our Zurich based client in the financial sector. Your experience/skills: 5+ years' experience and knowledge of MSSQL server administration including MSSQL 2005, 2008 R2 and 2012, preferably within the banking industry Know how of DB Replication, Mirroring and Clusters Proficiency of SQL code and database performance tuning along with performance investigation using profiler Capability to support 500 + servers in large enterprise environment Knowledge of SSIS, SSRS and Goldengate replication as well as MSSQL is advantageous Languages: fluent English both written and spoken Your tasks: Providing Third Level or higher database support of development and production environments including troubleshooting and solving incidents Analysing performance issues as well as designing and implementing complex changes Improving core infrastructure and supporting application and infrastructure BCM tests Handling overspill from second level MSQL teams Working out of hours rota and weekends as required including MSSQL Replication and Cluster setup duties Ensuring compliance with operational and change management guidelines Start: Duration: 07MM+ Location: Zurich, Switzerland Ref.Nr.: BH12797 Does this sound like an interesting and challenging opportunity to you?
