A leading IT Services Provider client of mine are currently looking for a Linux DevOps Engineer for a job opportunity in Luzern.
As the Linux DevOps Engineer, you will be a part of a team who are responsible for bringing out a new messaging service for mobile devices. You will be responsible for automation of pipeline builds, the optimisation of operations, and support of the messaging service/application, as well as developing new automation tools. Additionally, you will need to be able to create an operational concept, ie create a concept on how to integrate these modern tools into the existing ecosystem.
Some key skills you will need for this job are:
- Good knowledge of automation
- Strong operational and conceptual acumen
- Strong Linux administration skills
- Good familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Good experience with Ansible, Jenkins, and orchestration tools
- German is an advantage
This is for a contract job with an initial duration of until end of January 2019.
