Senior Engineer (Infrastructure) - Pharma Informatics/Manufacturing IT/English
Role: For one of our clients we are looking for a Senior Engineer (Infrastructure) for the Manufacturing IT Team to support our clients onsite in Basel.
Main tasks:
-Should be responsible for the operational work, project related activities and on-call services are carried out according to defined KPIs.
-Should be able to provide infrastructure and application management.
-Responsible to support and ensure the operational stability and efficiency of multiple applications and infrastructure platform
-Should be able to contribute to the core business and informatics processes and solutions by applying specific knowledge of systems and tools, as well as problem-solving skills, to support synthesis processes and solutions.
-Should be able to collaborate with end users to identify needs and opportunities for improved data management and delivery
-Should be resolved to resolve or escalate problems for resolution.
-Should be able to maintain and develop process and technical knowledge.
Requirements:
-Must have +8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, as well as in a regulated environment with computer system (laboratory or manufacturing experience as 2nd level support)
-Should have at least 8 years of experience with business processes in the manufacturing or laboratory environment
-Should have validation experience with working in a project environment and in Informatics Service Support and Service Delivery
-Should you have a previous experience in system installation and maintenance of operating systems, hardware and peripheral devices, eg barcode scanner, printer etc. -Must have a very good technical experience in manufacturing and laboratory systems
-Must have very strong technical skills in different operating systems and platforms
-Should you have a good experience in Network Infrastructure
-Should have a good experience with tools like Windows ; VMware; Citrix; Windows 7; Windows 10
-Must have ITIL certification and GxP certification
-Must have 2-3 years of experience in CSV or at least knowledge
-Excellent communication skills
-Should have high social skills and be a team player
Education:
-Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent qualification
Languages:
English: fluent (spoken & written); Fluent/Mother tongue is a plus
